everyone, Kasia Avery here and today I’m beyond excited to introduce
you to the newest set of stamps by Everything Art.
Tonight
I wanted to give you a sense of what I might get up to with these
stamps, but over the next 2 nights, you'll get plenty more inspiration
from 2 other fantastic bloggers in their preferred style. So there will be 3 nights of inspiration for you to enjoy!
This particular stamp set, EEA06, set is especially important to me as it carries a lot of my personal stories. Let me start with the boldest one of them - the strip with faces.
This particular stamp set, EEA06, set is especially important to me as it carries a lot of my personal stories. Let me start with the boldest one of them - the strip with faces.
It features some of the photographs of my own family and
ancestors that were once hidden in my sweet grandma’s box. After my Mum
scanned them all for me I knew that after a few alterations some of them
must experience the “limelight”. They seemed so fascinating and
mysterious!
Another stamp in the set that I love so much is a number strip. They are ultra versatile and they perfectly complement the alphabet from our previous set (EEA05). You can cut them into pieces or use as a strip (my favourite way). I love making bold backgrounds with them!
Do you enjoy washi tapes and cotton tapes as much as I do? This is one of the reasons why I decided to include this special cotton-tape style stamp in the set. Just by using any colour of ink you like and any paper you wish you can get endless opportunities for your own tapes. I also love using them as a border on old book pages.
Probably the most exciting stamp from the whole set though is the three-part frame. Three elements that let you build frames of various sizes and shapes - perfect for all art journaling projects where you really want your focal point to pop.
If you watch the facebook livestream video below, about 2/3 through you will see more on how the frames element can be used.
And there are also little circles in this set. Little, but let’s not underestimate them! They have loads of potential. You can use them as a focal point on your small artworks, as a little detail on bigger works or even to create a background with. One of them once again features my old family picture from a wedding of my grandmother’s cousin. :)
