Hi Everyone, Leandra here

Well today we have been packing the van all day ready for heading to Paris first thing in the morning. Yes it is our annual trip to Paris for the Scrapbooking show that is called Version Scrap. Now in its 6th year, we have been there every year, and so it's only fitting that we tell you all that is going on at the show.

There are different make and takes every morning and afternoon, classes with Jo Firth-Young, demos from Lin and Leandra each day...read on to find out the details.

The show opens on Thursday evening, there is a VIP session (soiree privee) ...sounds better in French! from 18:00 to 20:30. Each exhibitor is allocated tickets based on the size of their stand. We have already sent out the tickets we received to the first people who asked for them. At this session there are special offers for the VIP attendees.

Over the course of the weekend there is lots to do....

In the workshop area (Friday only)...
Jo Firth-Young is teaching classes in the workshop area beside our stand

Friday: 10am-12noon Block of Flowers (above)
Jo loves this class project, she has layered up stencils, flower stamps, paint and more to create a really cool project packed with JoFY techniques. Still some spaces available.Book here.

Friday: 1pm- 3.30pm Wrapped journal (above)
This is a double ended journal created from 2 small books. Jo has created cool layers with her newest FRENCH stamps for this class. A clever mini book idea that you will love to have in your possession! Still a couple of places left in this class. Book here.

Friday: 4pm - 6.30pm Layers of Loveliness (above)
A canvas decorated with lots of layers of stenciling, stamping and more with Jo's newest FRENCH stamps. Class is Sold Out.

We did ask the show organisers for our own classroom on Saturday too, so that Lin and Leandra could teach classes too, but sadly this year, they said it was not possible...maybe next year!

Jo has released 2 new stamps for the show, with words and phrases in French, and we have some chipboard shapes to match some of the shapes too...

In addition we have 2 new stamps sets from Emma Godfrey, which also have French elements...perfect for pocket scrapbooking!

In the Make and Take area on our stand....

We have a wonderful Make and Take programme that runs throughout the show with Dounia in charge. There is a downloadable PDF here.

Make and takes occur every 45 mins, and are 3 euro each.

On the PaperArtsy stand (Boutique No 1) we will have all our new release 2015 PaperArtsy products, numerous stamp collections, stencils and of course Fresco Chalk Acrylic Paints. To see all those products, videos and more go here.

In addition we are specialising in all things mixed media, perfect for journalling. We will have a large selection of gels, mediums, pastes, dye sprays, mica powders from Dreamweaver, Golden, Deco Art, Ranger, and Prima. We also have new paintbrushes, journals, spray bottles to mix your own concoctions and Gelatos, plus plenty of paint pens, pencils, and journalling pens.

And we will of course have all the newest Prima Marketing paper collections (Archivist, Timeless, Bella Rouge), with their co-ordinating embellishments and flowers, as well as Junkyard Findings, Finnabair Mechanicals and the new Memory Hardware.

Of course, demonstrating all these goodies with me will be Linda Brown. We look forward to seeing you in Paris, if you can make it!
