NEW PaperArtsy Products: Mags Woodcock {Feb 2026}

A note from Leandra:
I'm sure Mags has been super excited about this release for many months now, and we are so thrilled to finally be able to announce this release of her first three A5 stamps and stencils.

Mags has a versatile style that fits into so many situations beautifully, not only classic sepia vintage but with a change of colour, and leaning into her useful florals, suddenly the result can be much softer and spring-like. Just take  close look at her samples and you will see what I mean.

Mags will be LIVE over in our Facebook Group, 'PaperArtsy People' shortly after this post publishes, and remember, all our new releases are ONLY available EXCLUSIVELY from our approved stockists. Please check the list at the foot of this post to find a retailer online or geographically near you, it makes sense to order within your country where possible.

Our retailers endeavour to join the designer's live to share their direct shopping links in the live chat - this makes it easy for you to find a store with product in stock immediately.

Hello everyone. Mags here with you today

This release was inspired, and had it's roots in my love of numbers and also doodled flowers. Most of my work has either words of numbers somewhere in the layers. sometimes they are prominent, sometimes layered in the background.

Recently I had the honour of having some of my art on the cover of Somerset Studio, an American mixed Media publication. The featured art had both doodled flowers and numbers and I wanted to build on that combination for this product release.

Each stamp set has a wealth of possibilities, with background elements, bold numbers and focals. The stencils can also be used in multiple ways, adding subtle elements or bold additions.

Once again, as with my Mini release in December 2025, I used my vintage typewriter and label maker, along with hand drawn elements and hand cut foam stamps to help shape the stamps. One of the stencils also has numbers from a couple of hand cut vintage paper stencils.

I am delighted to share these samples using my very first collection of A5 stamp sets and stencils. So let's take a closer look.

Red Rubber Stamps (A5 set)
Price: RRP €23.00 +VAT
Size:5" x 6" (13 x16.5cm)
All stamps are individually trimmed onto cling foam, with a laminated storage/index sheet.

Eclectica Mags Woodcock Set 001 (EMW001)

Bloom and Grow
I used the star stamp to create a background for this card, and the flowers to create the focal. The colour was added using Infusions (Magenta and Lemoncello)

Here you can see how the text stamp adds extra interest and texture to the doodled flowers

Brushing diluted Infusions onto the stamp before stamping onto the smoothy card gave a painterly effect. Adding black stamping as the next layer added a more defined image to the background, also allowing me to add more colour to the stars as a third layer.

A Pretty Posy for Pauline

This vintage journal page has a photo of my cousin as a three year old girl, hence the use of the number 3.

Infusions coloured flowers along with stamped details create a frame for the vintage photo. The stamped stars help the eye move across the page. Once again the additional stamping adds texture to the flowers.

There are so many possible combinations and styles of flowers, here I show just a few basic ideas.

Eclectica Mags Woodcock Set 002 (EMW002)

On the Dot Birthday Card

The number stamps are so versatile, here I combine them with a couple of the bingo numbers for a 17th Birthday card. The background is a gel print using stencil PS506.

To add to the vintage and distressed look of the numbers, I added some white gel pen outlines and marks.

Cutting the Bingo numbers apart makes them very versatile.

Make It Count

This vintage plaque uses every stamp from the set. Most appear in the background, but some take a more prominent role. The typewriter x block add a textured look to the wooden stars and Grunge Paste. The numbers add details to the focal cluster.

Stamping the words onto coloured paper and leaving a border ties in with the vintage tones of the project.

You can see here how I stamped into the almost dry Grunge Paste with the x block stamp and the Just Walnut Infusions pooled in the marks.

Eclectica Mags Woodcock Set 003 (EMW003)

Hello Flower

Using diluted Infusions to stamp the flowers for the background of this card allowed for a painterly effect, before adding colour to the centres.

The background also makes use of the definition stamp from the set, which was stamped in grey, along with the dotty stencil PS506

The contrast of a black stamped flower, coloured with coordinating colours creates a focal point.

Big, Bright and Beautiful Journal Page

The florals and words from the stamp set create the focal for this A4 journal page, whilst the smaller stamps add to the background

The definition stamps add visual texture, along with the blocks of circular characters, notice how some have black pen added for contrast.

The bold number stamps are embossed in white adding to the contrast within the page

I love how all the stamp sets work together, (as planned) but they can also be used individually. They offer great value for money with two of the sets having eleven stamps and the third having nine.

PaperArtsy Stencil 506 (PS506)

Gel Printing Fun Journal Page

The Dotty stencil works so well on a gel plate, here I used it with Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic Vanilla. Tearing the print and layering on the page added texture.

Repeating the dots from the stencil again with both brown ink and white gel pen added to the cohesive look of the page.

You can no doubt see here how much fun I had gel printing with the dotty stencil, both first pulls and ghost prints.

Tag You're It

The background to these tags was printed tissue, gesso and Infusions, with Grunge Paste applied through the stencil, then more Infusions.

You may be able to see the touch of gold I added to highlight the raised dots of Grunge Paste.

Here's a look before I added the clusters.

Before I added the stamping, just the Infusions and Grunge Paste doing their magic.

PaperArtsy Stencil 507 (PS507)

Created with a Collagraph

The background to this card is a gel print using a collagraph plate created using stencil PS507.

This is the plate after it had been used.  It is a canvas board which had Grunge Paste applied through the stencil. When the paste was almost dry I pressed in a stamp from EMW002 to create textured marks. when completely dry I used this collagraph plate pressed into the paint on my gel plate to create marks, and then pulled a print.

Notice the lovely detail picked up from the plate, I added a little shading to create depth to the stars.

Little Drummer Girl, Ivy

Meet Ivy, a distant relative from the past, surrounded by stars. Grunge Paste coming into play again, but this time with several layers of paint and Infusions, then sanded back for a more distressed look

The stencil was also used as a template to create the corrugated cardboard stars, which has stamping for added interest. Notice how the stamped strs from set one echo the theme.

A closer look at all that texture, both from the sanding and the stamping.

PaperArtsy Stencil 508 (PS508)

Built on Numbers

I couldn't work on samples for this release without having some rust and Grunge. So here we are, an assemblage with a grungy background using Grunge Paste and Just Walnut Infusions.

Notice how there are tiny numbers scattered throughout the stencil. Some of the larges numbers are from vintage, hand cut, paper stencils I rescued. I think this may be my favourite stencil in the set.

A close up of those grungy numbers with a touch of gold gilding wax.

One, Two, Three, Baby and Me

The cat's out of the bag with this one. Can you guess who was born in 1963 ? Yes, this is my darling mum and I. A double page spread in my vintage journal.

I love to use number stencils at the corners of my pages, it brings the eye in towards the focal area. I wondered about highlighting the numbers one, nine, six, and three with white gel pen, but decided against it

I used a sponge to apply the Archival ink through the stencil, stopping before reaching the edges. A spritz or two of just Walnut Infusions gave a vintage distressed look.

I am going to get so much use from these stencils and have lots more  ideas for using them, so keep your eyes on the PaperArtsy People Facebook group for more inspiration.

I hope you love the stamps and stencils as much as I do. I am having so much fun creating with them, and I would love to see how you use them in your own creative way. So please tag me on social media so I can admire your wonderful work  with them.

A HUGE thank you to the PaperArtsy crew for making these stamps and stencils, and making all this creativity possible! They really are the best !
