Three monster dwellings by Corrie Herriman

Tonight we have another take on how to use Elena's stamps from Corrie.  Corrie is so good at thinking outside the box, but in this post she's working on the box! These wonderful houses have some new families moving in - i want to live in their neighborhood! Her colouring of the images is superb, so kick back and enjoy!

Hi everyone, Corrie here to show you an idea with Elena's brand new stamps she has designed for PaperArtsy.

People that know me, know that I don't like cutie stamps. Having said that I do make an exception for Elena's monsters. They are so very cute... but in a good way!  The moment I saw them I wanted to make something with them; my imagination went into overdrive, thinking about what to make and how to use these fabulous characters. 

I decided to go for three 'Monster Dwellings' because that what was these little people inspired me to do. This is what always happens to me. I see a new stamp or stamps and things start to pop up in my head. I saw them all living happily together somewhere in a forest or something in these cardboard houses...

These stamps are fantastic to colour. I really enjoyed spending time to do this to make them come to life. They also stamp like a dream and I will use them on cards and art journals as well because I think they have so many possibilities.  

Aside of the monsters there are also background stamps in the sets. I love background stamps and I use them all the time, not only on projects like this but also on cards and art journal pages. I think they add so much interest to backgrounds.

I also really enjoyed building these little 'dwellings' out of grey board. Amazing what you can make with a few pieces of card board and some paint. I think that paired with Elena's fabulous stamps they make a great project. 

I have enjoyed making this project with Elena's stamps so much and I think you can see that in my project too. I had a ball !  I hope that you get lots of ideas and inspiration too when you see these fabulous stamps.  Thank you so much Leandra and Elena for letting me be a wingman with these lovely new products.
