In this post we have a great project from Debs - she has altered a box using stamps and infusions to great effect. Lovely to see the stamps used to decorate a practical object. 

This would be awesome for all kinds of special keepsakes boxes too, and in that vein very much reminds me of Kasia's grandma's box where the photos of her relatives (used to make these stamps) were originally found!

Hi everyone, Debs here to share this box which has had a makeover using these fabulous new stamps. I was drawn to these as soon I saw them. All the Everything Art stamps are so versatile. I love to journal and these stamps are perfect for me to add as much or as Little stamping as I need. However as you can see it's not just journaling, you can use them for, as they can be used on anything. They were perfect for the box as I wanted to create an all over look. Of course, they would look fabulous on ATCs, tags, or any other substrate. The different sizes of the stamps are very useful too.

One of the things I love about these stamps is that when combined together you can create this blocked effect, alternating the stamps as I have done or you could you could use one strip on their own repeatedly.

I wanted to show the different looks you can achieve by using different colours and textures. For example, the outsides images are stamped over a painted Crackle Glaze effect. Whereas inside the box I stamped over Infusions, which I think gives a more vintage style effect.

I love that this set has a set of 3 straight borders included. This allows you to stamp corners or make frames around your work. The stamps meet together so well to achieve those 'right angles' perfectly and as they are different lengths you can create many different size boxes,  lines or frames.

There are so many elements to these stamps that I really want to have a go at making some inches art, which I struggle with usually, but these could easily be used as their individual size is great. You could cut the strips up which would really allow for random stamping to create that individual look.

I had such fun playing with these stamps which I believe is a great addition to the other stamps from Everything Art. I can see so many possibilities for their use and they easily mix and match, allowing you to create whatever style you prefer.
