GD: Kate Yetter Project #2 Altered Box {Part 2}

"Evening all, Kate here with tonight's finishing touches to my Altered Box project".

Using the large stamp from HP1302EZ, I stamped the image using Archival Ink Watering Can.

I used Distress Markers Fired Brick and Brushed Corduroy to color my image.

I like to use an old acrylic block as a palette for my paints. I make sure the block is clean and then color a moderate amount of color over the top. I then spray the color with my mini mister to turn it into a watercolor.

I used a small brush to color my image with the Brushed Corduroy.

I used the same technique to make a watercolor of the Fired Brick. I then highlighted the image adding shadow and such.

I stamped the sentiment from HP1302EZ and allowed it to dry. Actually, I am not very patient so I use my heat gun to speed up the process. I then sprayed the image with Dylusions Lemon Zest.

I added a bit of Fresco Finish Bora Bora to my acrylic block and added a splash of water.

I used a paint brush to add some blue to the stamped image.

Lastly, I cut out my images and added them to my box. I attached the sentiment and then added a coat of crackle glaze over the top.
