Winner of Topic #13 {Paper Piecing}

So it's a mid-year pattern-interrupt on the PaperArtsy Blog for the next week, and a little beyond!

Starting in an hour, at 7pm, we have a special week-long event starting! 

But before we explain that, let's see who won the Topic 13: Paper Piecing Challenge...

As ever, so many amazing entries in the challenge, from Hazel's cockerel, to this beautiful Lynne Perrella stamped piece (with video), we do urge you to check out our blog entries, there is so much inspirations that you all provide us from week to week! Debs did a great tag with one of Trish Latimer's brand new stamps, Claire snuck in at the 11th hour with an amazing JoFy inspired journal page in a gorgeous colour palette, And another entry from Raewyn in New Zealand with painted stickers! I loved this too. 

So the random winner of Paper Piecing  is: sam21ski who won with Harajuku Girls.

Congrats Sam, a well-deserved win. Sam used magazine backgrounds by stamping the image several times, and cutting/ layering to add vibrancy to the stamped images! A great re-purposing of materials to hand too! Then used the girls to make a journal page 'pop'

So what do we have coming up in an hour??? 

It's the first installment of our #3UP event. Many of you have taken part in previous #3UPs, so you know how excited and nervous everyone is. If you are not familiar, a few months back we had a LOT of people throw their name in the draw, and for each night, 3 names were pulled out. It is such a random process, and the results always blow us away! Tru to form, all our secret #3Uppers have been working away on their ideas to share every night this week!.....

So if you can, please do visit their own personal blogs too, all will be revealed at 7pm. 

As if that wasn't mega enough, the week after #3up will also be very interesting. I can't give any secrets away, just keep an eye on the blog....

All this interruption to normal service means that the next Blog Topic and challenge (#14) will begin on July 24th.
