GD: Clare Lloyd #2 Winter Journal Girl

Hello Clare, back tonight with one of my girls! This time she is wrapped up warm for the winter. 

Simply start by building up a background pattern onto Smoothy card using archival ink and stamps from Eclectica Clare Lloyd 02 set.

Then add some colour and pattern using a Mini Mayan Calendar stencil, Cherry Red and Lake Wanaka paint.

I am trying to make a textured knitted jumper look so also added a third colour (South Pacific) stamping more images from Eclectica Clare Lloyd 02 set

Now time for my girl drawing in pencil and then finalizing shape/detail drawing in pen.

Painting and shading the face using Vintage Lace, Caramel, Chocolate Pudding, a touch more South Pacific and Cherry Red. Then I painted the jumper and hat using the same colour scheme. You will also noticed I added a bit of stamping to my festive woolly jumper.

To add a final festive touch I added White Puff paint onto the hat and used a sentiment from my Eclectica Clare Lloyd 02 stamp set.

I will be back again tomorrow with my final project for 2014.
