GD: Liesbeth Fidder #3 Altered Canvas {Part 2}

Hello, it's Liesbeth here for the last time this week! Let's finish the canvas we started yesterday.

I did the same background- technique as the card of the first day this week: I applied some drops of Fresco Finish onto the craft sheet. I used Hey Pesto, Yellow Submarine and Inky Pool.

I sprayed (much) water onto the paint and pressed a piece of Smoothy White Stamping Card into it. Dried it with my heat gun.

I stamped the houses (LPC028)  2 times onto the paint background with black StazOn ink.

 For the next step, I used the Eclectica Shapes 01 (stem) and Eclectica Shapes 02.(circle
I inked the woman stamp (LPC029) and pressed the Eclectica shape circle upside down on here face , an easy way to be sure to stamp her face in the centre. I stamped some some text (LPC028) onto the stem.

I coloured both pieces with Fresco Finish Inky Pool and Yellow Submarine and some colour pencils for the face.

I cut out pieces and bits, and small arches  from the houses, I used my fantasy, not as big as the houses really are, smaller...very tiny here and there! I hope the photo's show what I mean :-)

I cut the bottom side of the houses a round shape so they'll fit at the circle later.

I glued the circle and stem onto the canvas and added the houses and arches to the circle by using 3d foam tape, to make a flower.

From the left overs of the painted paper, I cut out some stamped (houses) circles and glued them onto the canvas. I finished the flower and the edges of the canvas by applying some Treasure Gold Renaissance, I just used my finger for this.

To make a wall hanging, I punched two holes and added eyelets.

I put a piece of blue metal wire, with two glass beads,  through the holes and bent a heart.

The finished piece!

So, this was the last part of my 3rd month as a PaperArtsy Guest Designer, I loved doing it again ! Hope you liked my projects and hope you give it a try yourself!

See you next month, thanks for joining in!

Leandra Says: Beautifully finished Liesbeth! The paint spots and water technique is so vibrant, a real testament to how fabulous Fresco Chalk Acrylics are, even when diluted

Gillian Says: Genuis ... love how you have created such depth/dimension to this canvas. The centre piece is striking. Thanks for a great week of inspiration.

If you would like to join in this week's challenge and play along with Liesbeth's techniques, then do link up your creativity here, and go in the draw to win some PA stamps of your choice! You need to link your entry by 17:00, Sunday July 6th 2014.
