Hi everyone. Raquel here with you for another stamp & stencil release. I am absolutely thrilled to finally share this collection with you, and it might just be my most personal release yet. This entire collection was inspired by a single, joyful word: Celebrate.
As someone who completely adores vintage imagery, I wanted to design a versatile tool kit packed with detailed, hand-drawn botanicals, whimsical butterflies of all sizes, and elegant textures. I fell so deeply in love with the concept of the curved floral frames in the botanical cocktail glasses set that I actually used them to design my very own wedding invitations for later this summer! Every stamp and stencil has been crafted to layer effortlessly and work interchangeably, and I have had the absolute best time bringing these elements together in the samples and projects I'll share with you today.

Let's start with the stamps .......

Scrapcosy Set 56 (ESC56)
If you know me, you know I love a butterfly! For this collection, I really wanted a big, dramatic butterfly that would be absolutely perfect for fussy-cutting and adding as a gorgeous decorative touch when wrapping up a special present. But then I thought, why not create two of them in the same set? That way, you have instant variation depending on the size of the gift you're preparing, and check out the layering opportunity!!
Once the butterflies were decided and the presents were ready to decorate, the only thing left to do was party in true vintage style. Of course, every good party needs an invitation! To bring that idea to life, I designed a vintage-style "Admit One" ticket stub. I intentionally left the center empty and included a bunch of versatile sentiment words so you can mix, match, and stamp your own custom greetings inside the ticket for whatever unique occasion you're celebrating.
With the little bit of room left on the plate, I added a classic Greek-key border for extra decorative framing options, alongside a beautiful morning glory flower. That particular flower—and others you will see on the next stamp set—is really special to me. I walk past them every morning on different parts of my route back home from the school run. I picked this specific one one morning and decided to hand-draw it for this release so I could bring its natural beauty into a stamp for you.
YOU'RE INVITED
You would normally use a butterfly as a focal image on its own, however, you can also see a butterfly as a pair of luxurious wings to instantly elevate a simpler element. On this tag, you can see exactly how adding those fussy-cut wings transforms the project.
This is the perfect way to present an event invitation. You could also stamp the ticket repeatedly in a long strip to recreate vintage ticket rolls, or bind them into a mini book where the pages are a bunch of tickets containing the typewriter font messages.
The two wings nest together perfectly. I used Mattint River Deep to add the blue color to these three elements so they coordinate beautifully.
BEAUTIFUL MORNING GLORY
The Greek key stamp is designed so you can easily build a complete, continuous frame by stamping it twice. For this flat base layer, I stamped the morning glory directly inside the frame before adding colour.
To create instant dimension, I popped up the "Beautiful" sentiment and nested each card layer into a slightly larger one. The bottom frame features a quick, textured background made by sweeping a dark ink pad (Versafine Clair Pinecone) directly onto the cardstock, then blending over the white gaps with a sponge loaded with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
This project shows how you can transform a relatively small focal image into a larger card format just by increasing the frames around it. Playing with contrasting colours, distressed textures, and varied heights is a great way to add immense dimension to a simple design.
PARTY TIME!
Here is a festive sneak peek of what is to come in ESC58! Even though the main focal images belong to that upcoming set, you can see a couple of elements from ESC56 making a starring appearance here too.
This time, the ticket features a fun "Party Time" sentiment to perfectly match the celebratory tone of the tag. I also used the Greek border strip horizontally to beautifully ground the martini glass focal image.
ART JOURNAL PAGE
The large-scale butterfly stamps from ESC56 are ideal for art journaling! I worked directly on an Art Journal Vol 1 page previously painted with brush-cleanings in PaperArtsy Fresco Finish paints—Pea Coat, Niagara Falls, Gold Rush, Chocolate Pudding, and Gold. The base was just brushstrokes I made to clean up my brush while demoing at a craft fair.
Starting on the pre-painted background took away the pressure of a blank page. To make the focal elements jump out against the deep teal base, I chose Squeezed Mattint—a striking orange hue that instantly makes everything pop.
I designed three balanced clusters across the double-page spread, each anchored by a Greek-key frame, an orange focal element, and coordinating ephemera tickets carrying complementary sentiments from the stamp set.
Colouring all the sentiment tickets in matching orange tones ties the layout together seamlessly, establishing a cohesive palette across both pages.
To tie into the gold tones of the background, I stencilled inside each Greek-key frame using stencil PS529, applying Gold Fresco Finish Paint with a sponge for a soft metallic accent.
I also stencilled PS529 lightly across the background using Versafine Clair Pinecone ink—the same ink used to stamp the main images. This softens the painterly brushstrokes and unifies the spread with subtle texture.
I love adding dimensional pop-ups! It brings art journal spreads to life! Shaping the butterfly wings gives the illusion that it’s hovering softly over the framed cluster, ready to take flight.
The third cluster features the morning glory stamps, styled with the same layered framing and ticket details to bring a harmonious, satisfying finish to the entire spread. I'm pretty pleased with how this art journal spread turned out.
Scrapcosy Set 57 (ESC57)
If ESC56 gave you a glimpse of my daily walk, ESC57 is the full botanical summary of my route back home from the school run—filled with cherry blossoms, irises, morning glories, and the occasional butterfly flapping around. You already know the story behind the morning glory, but in this set, I’ve brought it to you in a much larger scale, making it perfect for your bigger projects.
Have you ever taken a really close look at a real iris? They are absolutely fascinating! They are structured in such a unique way that you can see three distinct, facing angles. They have a perfect symmetry that you might not expect from such a wonderfully unusual-looking flower. I drew this particular iris from a bunch I collected on the very same spot where the morning glories grow. All of these flowers come back year after year, but they often get completely cut back by the village gardeners. Before they disappeared this time, I gathered a few to draw and made sure to split the iris bulbs and replanted them in more places, so they can expand even more next year. I really hope I did it right!
The cherry blossoms are actually an invented collage. I took pictures from several different angles of the blossoms on the trees I pass by, and then stitched them together into my very own custom composition—one designed specifically to leave the perfect amount of space for a sentiment right on the side.
As for the remaining decorative flowers, they are a nostalgic nod to one of my all-time favourite stamps: the thunbergia flower composition from my very first set, ESC01. I’ve always loved the shape of those tiny petals, so I decided to recreate some of them here as a versatile corner piece and a decorative border line to help frame your projects. To finish the set, I added some very common, yet incredibly useful sentiments in my signature font. I hope you find this set just as inspiring as my daily walk home!
SPECIAL DAY
Welcome to the botanical party! A day spent with flowers is always a special day, and this card celebrates that by featuring almost every single element from ESC57—it's a party for the eyes! (Plus, it features a little sneak peek of stencils from PS529 in the background!)
I used the small stamp featuring little flowers and leaves to create two long botanical ribbons to frame the "Special Day" sentiment. To achieve this continuous look without overlapping lines, I simply stamped the first flower, covered it with a fussy-cut sticky note mask, and then safely stamped the adjacent flowers on either side so they appear to sit beautifully behind it.
By fussy cutting and layering these elements, you can add incredible dimension and movement to your projects. It is very rare for me to leave a project completely flat, as I absolutely love shaping the fussy-cut pieces by hand to create natural shadows and volume.
To colour the images, I used PaperArtsy Mattints, though the specific shades might surprise you! Mattints are wonderfully peculiar... and fluid; their batch colours can evolve over time if left unsupervised! For the green I used Mattint Fern and for the purple I used Mattint Bellflower, but for the cream and pink tones on my cherry blossoms both came from two bottles of Mattint Nutty! Different batches and ages, they are not brown anymore, but they are absolutely beautiful, just embrace the change, they will surprise you!
THANKS
To create a lush floral border for the butterfly, I used the corner stamp along with some masking, then stamped two extra large flowers to seamlessly bridge the vertical sides of the frame.
Echoing the main frame concept, I bordered the "Thanks" sentiment with the smaller thunbergia stamp and added a few extra cut-out flowers to complete the look. Layering these distinct elements adds a wonderful depth and creates beautiful, soft shadows across the card.
To make the entire design pop, I set it against a very dark blue background, subtly textured using stencil PS529 with a dark ink to add extra interest without distracting from the main focal elements. Don't forget that a detail to elevate your composition can be to use a ball tool on a soft surface like a mouse mat to shape petals, leaves and wings gently.
Scrapcosy Set 58 (ESC58)
Let's continue with the party! For this final stamp set, I had the fun idea of decorating party glassware with botanical elements to create unique, elegant focal images. The chic martini glass (complete with its own olive skewer!) and the classic champagne flute are designed to be dressed up with extra details from the set, like the individual olives or a slice of lemon or lime, creating a beautiful frame for your celebration-themed sentiments.
This set is also deeply personal to me because of my upcoming wedding. I wanted to design my very own wedding invitations, which inspired the dense, lush floral frames you'll see at the top of the stamp set. They are a custom collage of the multiple flowers I drew for this entire release, specifically composed to encircle your greetings. My actual wedding invitation is a triptych, and those two frames—along with the storybook-style sentiments "Once upon a time..." and "Happy ever after"—form a central part of it!
Whether you are crafting for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, or any happy milestone in between, this set is designed to help you raise a glass and toast life's happiest moments.
ON YOUR DAY
This interactive design is one of my favourite samples from the release! It invites the recipient to step right into a celebratory garden party surrounded by lush, cascading blooms.
Tucked right behind the initial layer of flowers, you can catch a tantalising glimpse of the champagne glass waiting at the centre of the party.
The detailed clusters of blossoms on either side create a beautiful framing effect, encouraging you to slow down and appreciate each floral element.
Opening the two interactive flaps reveals the celebratory champagne flute in full, sharp focus against a gorgeous, striking modernist stencilled background.
To bring the blueberries to life, I layered Glossy Accents over them to give them a dimensional, 3D finish that mimics the luscious shine of real fruit.
I also added Glossy Accents to the glass itself. I purposefully tried trapping tiny air bubbles inside the liquid area, and I'm so happy I managed to make it! While we usually try to avoid bubbles with Glossy Accents, here they add a wonderful touch of realism to mimic the effervescence of real champagne!
When fussy cutting the flaps, I intentionally left a slightly wider card border around the flowers; that allowed the delicate blossom buds to keep their stems completely sturdy and visible.
This is probably the most personal sample in the whole release, as it is a direct recreation of the layout I designed for my own wedding invitations. The original triptych design featured these exact "Once Upon a Time" and "Happy Ever After" compositions across the first two opening flaps.
While these designs are beautiful as standalone cards, they are also perfect for building a storybook or mini album. You could use the first composition as your cover page, and repeat the empty floral frame on the inner pages to hold your text before concluding with the final sentiment.
To make the floral borders pop without an overwhelming amount of cutting, I used a clever "half-fussy cut" technique. I simply drew a straight pencil square around the panel and only fussy cut the specific leaves and petals extending past that frame line.
I mirrored the same layout and half-fussy cut technique on the coordinating card. To ground the design, I used the direct-to-paper ink pad method to create a rich, dark brown distressed frame around the border.
CHEERS!
This playful, celebratory tag features a fun interactive twist—the martini glass has a hollow design that lets you tuck the olive skewer right inside! In the background, you get an exciting sneak peek of stencil PS528, setting a festive party vibe.
To create maximum dimension, I fussy cut the flowers and foliage separately, gently shaping each piece by hand before reassembling the collage. Those three layered blue daisies add such a gorgeous focal point to the base of the glass!
Shaping the leaves of the mint twig gives them incredible 3D life—the realistic curves make it look fresh enough to smell!
I really love how all these textures and dimensional techniques came together on this tag—it’s such a fun project to create for a special celebration!

PaperArtsy Stencil 527 (PS527) by Scrapcosy
I absolutely love a layered stencil! They are so much fun to design and even more exciting to use because they allow you to build incredible depth, fine detail, and dimensional layers directly onto a single image. By shifting and building your colors, a stencilled background element can easily be turned into a proper, stunning focal image on any of your projects.
For this layered stencil, I chose the iris because it is such an interesting flower that naturally showcases two different, contrasting colors. By dividing the design into multiple layers, you have complete control over the ink blending, allowing you to easily capture those realistic, two-tone color transitions that make irises so unique. I applied the exact same concept to the coordinating butterfly, giving you a layered base to play with vibrant contrasting wing patterns.
They pair really nicely together on a card or a journal page; all you need to do is add an extra sentiment stamp to complete the design!
IRIS TAG
While stencils are often thought of for background patterns, PS527 provides a gorgeous pair of standalone images—the iris and butterfly—that work beautifully together as the main focal feature of your design.
Placing the butterfly at the base grounds the tall stems nicely for this tag layout, though it would look equally stunning fluttering alongside the blooms on a larger card or journal page.
After inking and fussy cutting multiple irises, I layered them together on a single stem. This adds dynamic depth and mimics how irises naturally bloom in clusters in nature.
To finish the images, I traced fine pen lines over the stencilled layers. This transforms the soft ink blending into an illustration style reminiscent of a hand-drawn sketch, set off perfectly against a stencilled background from PS529.
If you want to bring instant energy and a celebratory mood to your projects, PS528 is all about the festive details! I wanted to capture the movement of a real celebration, so I designed flowing serpentines (streamers) and scattered confetti dots to help you build a playful, dynamic background. It is a fantastic pattern for experimenting with colour—by blending two or three different ink shades together through the stencils, you can easily create the look of falling party decorations.
But the fun doesn’t stop with the background texture! I also included a stencil version of the morning glory flower right on the plate to act as your main focal element. Turning this hand-drawn flower into a stencil means you can apply thick modelling pastes for a textured, raised effect, or layer it cleanly over your colourful confetti backgrounds. It bridges the gap between the organic botanical look and a fun party atmosphere seamlessly!
MORNING GLORY PARTY
Just like the previous stencil, PS528 features a stunning graphic floral motif that works brilliantly as a focal image. It would also look incredible applied with texture paste for a raised, tactile effect!
Although it is a single-layer stencil, the open openings make it very easy to blend different ink colours for the petals and stems using small blending brushes.
To tie the background into the overall design, I stencilled the party streamers in brown ink to echo the stamped ticket sentiment and the dark brown tag border.
Similarly, I chose green for the confetti dots to coordinate seamlessly with the flower stems, keeping the palette cohesive. The whole combination looks gorgeous layered over that soft blue Distress Oxide background!
CHEERS!
You might recognise this tag from earlier, but I wanted to take a closer look at the background stencilling to show how easily it infuses a playful party vibe into the design.
By stencilling the swirling streamers and scattered confetti in two contrasting colours, both elements pop crisp and clear against the crisp white tag background.
These confetti details would also look absolutely stunning heat-embossed in gold powder! It would add a gorgeous touch of shimmer and a luxurious, elevated finish to the celebration theme.
To make the background feel even more dynamic, you could concentrate extra confetti towards the bottom of the tag to look as if it has fallen to the floor—definitely a fun idea to try on the next project!
PaperArtsy Stencil 529 (PS529) by Scrapcosy
For me, PS529 is a total staple stencil—the kind of versatile design that I know I will reach for over and over again in my craft room. I wanted to give you two very different background styles on a single plate to maximize your options. On one side, you have a beautiful, flowing, organic pattern filled with delicate flowers. On the other side, you have a structured, repeatable fan design that brings a classic, modernist, early 20th-century geometric elegance to your work.
Both patterns are absolutely perfect for adding that subtle, extra layer of texture to your projects. Whether you blend them softly with distress inks for a vintage wallpaper vibe or apply modelling paste for deep, crisp texture, this stencil is designed to support your focal images beautifully without overwhelming them.
ON YOUR DAY
When closed, the intricate floral gatefold flaps steal the spotlight, leaving just a tantalising glimpse of the warm stencilled background peeking out from behind the champagne glass.
As you open the flaps, the rich warm-brown wallpaper pattern of stencil PS529 is gradually unveiled, adding instant elegance and depth to the inside panel.
Fully opened, the seamless background pattern takes center stage—providing a sophisticated, vintage-inspired backdrop that frames the champagne glass and berry accents beautifully.
FLOWER GARDEN PARTY
Keeping the colour palette muted allows this background to add incredible tactile dimension and character without ever overpowering the floral arrangement.
Applying Grunge Paste through stencil PS529, washing it with Infusions, and aging the raised details with Vintage Photo Distress Ink creates a soft yet rich, stone-like patina. It sits quietly in the background while still commanding attention!
By flipping the stencil, I created a mirrored layout that forms a natural frame, placing the focal flowers and sentiment directly in the spotlight.
To complement the design, I hand-cut the background panel to subtly follow the outer curves of the stencilled motif, giving the entire card a soft, organic silhouette.
IRIS
For this iris tag, stencil PS529 creates a subtle wallpaper background. Blending two different Distress Ink shades together gives the pattern a soft, seamless transition.
The soft, muted background adds subtle interest and depth, letting the vibrant, hand-outlined irises and butterfly pop as the main focal features.
Because this is a continuous, repeatable pattern, you can easily extend it to fit any project size. Simply shift the stencil down, align the fan and dot motifs, and continue stencilling to cover the entire length of the tag.
Here is a peek at the background before adding the layered irises and butterfly. Faded Jeans and Vintage Photo Distress Inks make such a gorgeous combination, blending together into a beautiful, muted teal-brown patina.

Even when working with dark, dramatic ink shades, applying stencil PS529 adds an extra layer of depth and richness that instantly transforms a flat cardstock base into a patterned tapestry.
This stencil is destined to become a craft room essential! At least for me! Its elegant, vintage wallpaper aesthetic lends a subtle yet undeniably luxurious look to any project background.
Here is a look at the background before adding the floral frame and butterfly. This pattern would make incredible custom scrapbooking paper—and because it repeats infinitely, you can create panels as large as you need. Blending darker ink around the edges gives it a wonderful vintage vignette finish. I should have extended it even more so it would be seen in the final card, but I didn't calculate it properly. Something to improve in the next project!
I really love how this entire release turned out. It feels incredibly versatile, packed with personal memories, and filled with elements you can use all year round—from cosy spring walks to festive milestone celebrations.
