Tracy Scott - A5 stamp set 096 {TS096}

So I've had a dreamcatcher on my list of stamp design ideas for some time and was never sure how I wanted to proceed with the idea, and then all of a sudden it came to me.... I wanted a multi functional set that could be used in multiple ways and really give lots of possibilities, and it truly worked out better than I expected.

I like the idea of multiple frames so that you could produce varying sizes of dreamcatcher suitable for different projects.

The idea was that you could layer these various elements up so that there would not only be a variety of sizes but also a multitude of design options to use, ensuring you can change up the look of the design.

But what if you are not a huge fan of dreamcatchers?.... This set has been designed so that even if you don't want to make a dreamcatcher, you can use the elements such as the feathers to create a background element, and those additional border pieces can be used as frames, and even the beaded elements can be used to create a mandala!!!

And of course there is always the options to cut the circular elements apart to create floral embellishments for all your projects.
This is a versatile set for sure and I can see me using this one in lots of different ways.

Tracy Scott - A5 stamp set 097 {TS097}

Well we all know that I love a flower stamp and I'm always looking for new options to add to my ever expanding collection. And I haven't designed a floral cluster before, so felt that now might be the ideal time with spring fully on its way up here in the Northern hemisphere.

I've always loved creating girls with flowery hair and knew instantly that this set would work so well for this.  I love to colour with my Prismacolor pencils and the design of these stamps really do lend themselves to creating the most beautiful blooms.

When I designed the floral cluster I made sure that the individual flowers could easily be cut apart from the main design so that they could also be used as stand alone designs, in my opinion this gives far more versatility and options for all of your projects.

The smaller elements in the set were designed so that you could create 3D elements to really elevate your projects, and also so that you have varying options to play with.

You can even create additional embellishments by using the petal and leave shape plus the original floral designs and centres to produce something completely new!!!

Tracy Scott - A5 stamp set 098 {TS098}

If you have followed me for any amount of time you will know that I adore stamps that I can use to create interest patterns and whilst I have touched on damask, swirls and fleur-de-lys before as additional accents to a stamp set, I have wanted to create a set dedicated to these elements for a long time,  I knew that now was the time and I am in love !!!

There are so many possibilities for this set, I have used them in other samples you will see as you scroll through this post as background elements which I absolutely adore but for this sample I chose to create something different.

You already know that I cannot resist a mandala and most of my stamp sets I release I will attempt to create one with individual stamps within the set and of course this was no exception....

I used 3 of the smaller elements to create this mandala and believe me I could have gone on forever.

I just grabbed some stamps and began to build, these stamps made it so easy to create a design so quickly.

Adding accents with colour and gel pens really changes the designs up and with all the elements in the set the possible designs and patterns really are endless.

Who doesn't love a circle right?..... This stencil was designed with versatility in mind.
What about using grunge paste to create some base texture onto a project or as I have in this project with embossing powder to create a real focal element to really enhance and centre my Egyptian goddess.....

And how about using the bottom of the stencil to create the focal pattern for her dress.....

Of course this stencil will be ideal for backgrounds on any art journal page and how about using the circular element with multi coloured distress inks to create and fantastic card background which could then be accentuated with any of the floral elements in the new stamps.

I love that the main circular element on this stencil can be rotated, here I have double stencilled to create a shadow appearance under the gold, which is a fantastic 3D effect.

I don't very often coordinate stencils with stamps but I knew that by creating this one in my signature large floral style would give me so many more options to be use with the new floral stamps but to also be able to use as a stand alone option.

I just adore the size of the flower on this stencil, its perfect for adding a larger element to a background with quick and easy coverage, but also as I have with this sample when used with the focal floral stamp it really does become a large focal element in itself.

How about using the large flower as a template for a cut page, the size will really act as a statement design element.

As there are some larger spaces on this stencil, it will be ideal to stamp designs through or even use on the gel plate for some really cool effects.

And did you notice the pattern element of the stencil peaking through in the background of this sample,  I know that this will be a favourite of mine for adding detail to backgrounds for sure.

More flowers... of course.... what else was it going to be?....
I absolutely love a floral stencil, and daisy style flowers are definitely a favourite for sure.  I just love the way that they look when you add them into a background of a project whether using paint, grunge paste or embossing powder they just always add a really pretty element to a project.

For this project they just work perfectly with the florals of the new stamp set and are quick and easy to layer and cover an entire background.
And did you notice the large focal flower created with more than one element in the stamp set to design something entirely new,  I also cut apart the cluster stamp to create the trailing elements for this project!!!

What about using the stencil as a drawing template to create perfect doodled daisy flowers, I have designed stencils previously to do this but this one would be a fabulous addition.

Of course you do not have to use the entire stencil and can just pick out individual elements to suit your project.

And what if you used distress inks in multi colours and rotated the stencil to create a stunning rainbow background for your next card or project?

I hope I have given you some ideas of what you can achieve with thew new release and don't forget that I will be live in the PaperArtsy People Facebook Group shortly to share lots more ideas with you.  I look forward to seeing what you create .....
