Welcome everybody. Seth Apter back with my fourth and newest PaperArtsy release for 2025. This time around it is all about the minis! Eight new designs in these compact, credit-card-sized, deeply etched, red rubber stamps for your creative makes.
I consider these mark making stamps, perfect to be lost in your backgrounds or front and center as an abstract focal point. As always, they are designed so you can use them your way and in your style. These stamps lean into the linear but sometimes also include a bit of curve to add some softness.
Read on to get some ideas and inspiration on the BIG ways these MINIS can be used. And also read the object(s) that I am reminded of by these abstract images. Curious as to what you see too!
Eclectica³ Seth Apter Mini 137 (EM137)
STACKED
These stacked, fuzzy lines resemble piles of books or, when turned 90 degrees, books on a shelf.
The spaces in between the lines are perfect for showing the background and/or adding strips of color.
And they are perfect as a wonky set of lines to add words or phrases. A unique journaling block for sure.

FUZZY DIAMOND
Mini 139 also uses fuzzy lines but in a different configuration.
To me this resembles a shaggy carpet and, once again, the spaces between the lines enable you to show peeks of the background underneath.
The negative space creates a centered diamond which offers the opportunity for added your own, distinct color highlight to the mix.

HONEYCOMB
Looking a bit like a wonky honeycomb, Mini 139 also reminds of roof tiles -- the kind you might see on a gingerbread house.
The many gaps here enable you to present an explosion of the colors of your choice.
Stamping the design multiple times gives you to chance to fill a bigger space with the design.

GATE
Resembling a gate or, yet again, a stack of books on a bookcase, this design highlights the linearity I love so much.
I love this design equally as a horizontal or a vertical image.
It makes the perfect border that serves to highlight a word.
Eclectica³ Seth Apter Mini 141 (EM141)
HIGH FIVE
A bit of an outlier but I wanted to include a number series in this release.
The commonality is the graphic nature of the design - perfect as a focal point.
The addition of some randomly placed lines also connects it back to the full collection.
Eclectica³ Seth Apter Mini 142 (EM142)
ARCHES
Turn this stamp on its side and I see a slice of cake. But I think I will be using this one as a unique swatching stamp rather than as a dessert.
Mini 142 is easily cut into strips to make the design more flexible and individual.
They make the perfect journaling block too.

CANCELLATION
The design of Mini 143 is my take on a cancellation mark printed by a postal service over a used stamp on an envelope.
Of course the design can be used is so many other ways, including as a background detail or even lines to write on.
That being said, my sample art here highlights all-things postal!

WINDOWS
The design of the final stamp in this release was inspired by the windows on all the buildings that make up part of my apartment view.
The direction of the stamp quickly morphed into a swatching design.
The bottom right space comes pre-filled -- honoring the closed shades sometimes seen in my window view.
