A note from Leandra:
You may remember last year we released a new PaperArtsy range of stamps under the Eclectica³ PaperArtsy series. These designs are minimal and understated, with the idea being they could be used for all kinds of under-layers across a various other designer collections.
So continuing in that vein, here are 8 Eclectica minis to join the collection. I have had so much fun with these as you will soon see. For the samples in this release, I have mostly used Oxide inks, and paired the backgrounds with plenty of Kate Crane quirky characters.

As you can see from these designs, there is a lot of flexibilty with a mix of backgrounds, focals and even some words in the mix. I adore the dfresh vibe of these designs, and can see the flexibility from journal spreads to scrapbook layouts!

These 2 patterns produce unexpected results when you start exploring how they can twist and repeat, I love howthey work together or apart, so its a twofer design! (we do trim this so they come apart with one small snip of your scissors)

I used a variation of Mags Woodcock's grunge stamping technique to get the distressed oxide ink effect from the same pink and orange used in previous samples. (It's a mix of Versafine Clair Nocturne and Oxide inks). After stamping the solid blocks with that technique, I filled gaps with the squiggles.

This one is the same idea, but less grungy, the little triangles are from EM157. Oxide inks come into thier own here with their opaque layering ability, I do love a light over a dark combo!

I LOVE this chevron pattern, it is super fun to stamp multiple times, and in my samples I have been using 2 colours, to create a colourpop contrast. Super easy.

OK, You are quickly realising i got carried away doing repeats of this idea. I was trying our different colours, and it was fun!

You cand follow the same pattern repeat (as I used above with the chevron) with these offset circles. Also fun to mix and match the patterns from other minis in the range. Who doesn;t like circles over circles!

So I started mixing and matching by this point, but you can see the concentric circles in there and the bold arrows. I really think all these would be super fun for a scrapbook page!
Another mashed up design.
I quite liked using clear EP over the black ink to make the focal images or features pop, like in the word, rainbow and line below.

To be honest, after all the white space in the previous samples, I am not really loving this background, but I have to admit, an ombre solution is easy with the Oxide inks direct to smoothy card, and again, the words are embossed. Normally I would pop a Kate character on top, but I did not want to hide the words so you can see them all!
