Hello PaperArtsy people! The time has come again for another new release. This time we are all about what I like to think of as the perfect snack - mini stamps! I have 8 new designs which brings the total of my collection to 56. That is a maxi collection of minis. You know by now that my designs are abstract, versatile, and are designed for you to use in your way through your creative voice.

Let's move on to welcoming these stamps into the world...

Here we go ...

Eclectica³ Seth Apter Mini 105 (EM105)

TAG-A-LONG

I love to create designs that have empty spaces to either allow the background to show through or to enable the user to add their own choice of color, design, or text. And I especially like a non-traditional swatch stamp. EM105 hits the mark on all of these fronts.

The tag shape is iconic in the craft world and in this artwork is echoed by the shape of the envelope -- with a special note inside.

The empty space in the center of each tag allows for just a touch of your own personalization. Here it is random numbers but it could be (mini) words, letters, months of the year, or anything else.

COUNTDOWN

I love adding numbers to my mixed media art. They can have so many different meanings and are endlessly versatile. The only thing better than numbers are numbers surrounded by wonky circles.

While this stamp can be used to create background details, it can also serve as an abstract focal point.

Once again the spaces within the circles allows the background to show through but are also perfect for filling in with color. And remember that you can also add additional numbers or marks as well.

Eclectica³ Seth Apter Mini 107 (EM107)

CIRCLE STACK

Speaking of circles, EM 107 is all circles, all the time. Stacked and overlapped.

While a circle can be elegant, my version is grungy, messy, and scratchy.

This stamp can be used loosely as a background element, an abstract focal point, a frame for small words, letters, numbers, or designs, or simply as a grungy element in your work.

Eclectica³ Seth Apter Mini 108 (EM108)

BAR NONE

I love a design that begins with a strong linear element - such as a line or bar - and then also has a contrast in the form of circles, splats, and curves. Such is the design of EM 108.

This stamp can be used in full, in pieces, or laid side by side horizontally to create a long border.

I often outline stamps such as these as it grounds the stamp into the background and at the same time makes it pop.

Eclectica³ Seth Apter Mini 109 (EM109)

ONE OF EACH

EM 109 has a bit of everything: loose overlapping circles, straight lines, dots and splats, and an X. These are some of my favorite design elements.

This stamp looks good when used exactly as designed but it is also can be broken up or partially stamped off the edge.

The circular details of this stamp guides the viewers eye round and round and the details extending north, south, east and west from the center circles bring the eye in all other directions as well.

Eclectica³ Seth Apter Mini 110 (EM110)

Corrugated

I designed EM 110 as a full-on texture stamp. It has the feel of corrugated cardboard or metal, instantly providing a feel of texture, dimension, and shadow.

Perfect for backgrounds, my favorite way to use this stamp is loosely, overlapping, and with multiple colors of ink. The surface may be flat but it truly looks textured.

The scratches and gaps in the design make it perfectly imperfect.

LOTS OF DOTS

Who doesn't like a dot? And what is better than one dot? Lots of dots.

Contrast is such an important concept in my artwork and in EM 111, I chose to line up the dots in columns to have both curvy and linear together.

While this stamp would be perfect to use loosely and imperfectly in the background, I just couldn't stop myself from keeping the linear feel in this piece of art.

Eclectica³ Seth Apter Mini 112 (EM112)

ICED TEA RINGS

For the last stamp in the set, I had to go back to another iconic image -- coffee rings. But those who know me well know that for me they have to be Iced Tea Rings.

I love the overlap of these rings and how you can stamp them in all different directions side by side to make your own design.

The opened and closed areas can be embellished in so many different ways, including having numbers and text spill out from the breaks in the circles.

As always, thanks so much for taking the time to read through this post and, hopefully, for being inspired by what you see. I cannot wait to see what you all create using the designs. And a big thank you to the entire PaperArtsy team for enabling me to make this happen for you!!
