Jo is back with a dinky mini release. I love how she has created a wonderful and useful mix of word stamps, background designs, and some delightful focal images. Take a closer look at how handy these will be for Christmas themed tags, gift wrap, cards and presents.

Hi everyone, Jo here. Two Christmas releases in one year - well, can't have too much Christmas can you!
I think of these eight mini stamps as complementaries. They are great for using with other stamps - enhancing and creating backgrounds, adding details.... and there's a monster! A mini festive monster.... Festive Fred!
These stamps all work together really well - you'll see from the samples how the interchange perfectly.

Festive Fred!
I couldn't resist creating a festive friend to join the monster gang! Like the other monsters I designed it without arms so you can draw them on to suit the situation - I'm thinking Festive Fred could carry presents, or the little tree from JM94 coming up later in this blog post.
I discovered purely by accident that Festive Fred's Santa hat fitted the snowman from JOFY143 (cut off the deelyboppers)!! How cute/perfect does that hat look on the snowman! Win win - I'm hoping it will also fit some other other monsters!

Love love love
This heart design is lovely for little cards, tags or ornaments - but also with a bit of careful placement of die-cut motifs it can be used for other events - as shown on the right side heart.

The Nice List
I had scrapbooking & journalling in mind when I designed this stamp. Great to add to a photo of a family member in a christmas setting. The star stamp can be used to stamp out separate motifs as shown in the photo below.

Sprinkles
This background stamp is going to be a big favourite of mine! Its inspired by my stencil PS396 and has solid and line details which means you'll be able to colour in elements.
Its a lovely background motif as shown below, embossed in white...

Stars galore
This stamp is not just for christmas - its going to look great on backgrounds of all sorts of celebratory cards. Really useful.
Happy
For example here, just adding a few colours to the stars, and stamping the image in different positions, higher and lower, you can pattern match and create continuity with ease.

Oh, Christmas Tree!
A really useful little stamp - gorgeous little sentiments stamps that can be used in many ways.
The tree stamp can be altered to create various trees.
I've really enjoyed combining the stamps of this release - the words of JM95 sit well with the tree of JM94

Montage
This stamp is great for creating repeated (& rotated) backgrounds because I laid words out in different directions... I think you should buy 2 of these stamps - cut one up and you'll create 10 separate word stamps, and keep the other as a background stamp.
I created these backgrounds by stamping and rotating the card - comes together really quickly and its so effective.

Tag, you're it!
The words on this stamp are perfect for adding a single word on a tag or card without it being overwhelming.
The words work really well with JM95 as you can see on the card below.
I enjoyed working with these new mini stamps, seeing how well they work together & imagining how they can be used with older stamps!
