2016 Winter Blog Hop Night Three.

Winter Blog Hop Night Three

Time is whizzing by, Christmas social activities are in overdrive. So come on over to the PaperArtsy blog, your wonderful oasis of peace, love and inspiration!

Part 3 of our 4 part hop is today, and we have another 4 talented designers from StencilGirl Products and PaperArtsy for your utter enjoyment!

Today, Friday, Dec 23rd hop on over to these blogs...

This evening we start with our very own Clare Lloyd using her gorgeous girlie stamps.

Hi, Clare here. As well as stamps one of my must-have craft stash items has to be stencils. So the chance to work with StencilGirl products was an opportunity not to be missed! There is such a wide range of designs to fit all styles so I was able to find plenty to complement my modern clean style.

The stencils all layered up perfectly with Fresco chalk paints and the Jessica Sporn 'Becoming' stencil worked fabulously with my girlie stamp designs. Head over to my BLOG to see a step by step tutorial. Why not check out all my latest projects on INSTAGRAM.

Next another of our PaperArtsy Eclectica³ designers. Lin Brown.

Hi, I'm Lin, from YoursArtfully and I would like to share a project with you using my three favourite things......stamps, stencils and Fresco Finish paints. In my opinion, this is a trio made in heaven and a combination that I use pretty much on a daily basis.

I love how versatile all of these products are, they allow me to create really interesting backgrounds for my projects, whether I'm working on a canvas like this or maybe some fabric or a wooden substrate, the results are always fantastic. I'm totally in love with the way white paint looks trapped between the layers when using translucent paint. Please click here to hop over to my blog for a step by step tutorial of this project.

Now for our StencilGirl guests, first up we have Anna Friesen

Anna says: Working with these paints was like frosting a cake, so luscious and rich with an opaque creamy feel.

The stamps make it easy to add lines and shapes that would be tricky to create by hand. And the stencils are so beautifully designed to work for background textures.

Pop on over to Anna's blog to see all her steps and to leave her a comment.

Finally this evening another StencilGirl guest, this time it is Janet Joehlin

What fun it was to make these books using these versatile PaperArtsy stamps and StencilGirl stencils. I loved the translucency of that Blue Glass Fresco Acrylic Paint and that color is my favorite!

I picked this particular stamp set because I knew I could use them over and over again as really cool texture in many future projects! Thanks PaperArtsy and StencilGirl!

To see how Janet made her books, visit her blog and please leave a comment.

I really hope you are feeling rather spoiled this week. It's our final night tomorrow, but don;t panic, you have until the end of the month to leave comments on all the blogs involved. So if you are a tad busy, and we know you are, there will still be time next week, when life gets a bit slower, to enjoy the fine details of each designer's work!

You have until Friday, December 30th at 11:59PM Central Time to leave your comments.

Winner will be announced on StencilGirl's Facebook page and PaperArtsy's blog on Sunday, January 1.

Here's a reminder of the blog hop line up:
