I started by applying some Grunge Paste through a stencil onto some kraft card.
Once this was dry, I painted over the whole thing with some Lake Wanaka Fresco Paint, then sprayed it with some Ranger Rusty Hinge reinker and water in a mini mister. Here’s a shot of it in progress:
Once that had dried (I’ll admit to getting inpatient and using a heat gun), I applied a little Treasure Gold Classic with a soft cloth to really bring out the detail of the Grunge Paste.
I then chose images from the Lynne Perrella Collection 003, I used the largest stamp on the card, and one of the smaller ones on the ATC.

I stamped the images onto kraft cardstock with black ink, using the design of the stamps themselves as a guide, I used found objects and buttons to create an assemblage over the stamped image. Here’s the card:
I didn’t go so heavy with the embellishments on the ATC as I know it has to fit into a pocket in a
binder.
Apart from the drying time, this set took a leisurely couple of hours to put together – perfect for an afternoon of crafting with friends. Enjoy and thank you for reading. Teresa.
A huge thank you to Teresa from PaperArtsy HQ. Thanks for joining us and creating this beautiful set. The use of ink over the paint creates lovely, delicate interest to the background. Your choice of kraft card and neutral ephemera adds to the vintage, eclectic feel, and the treasure gold brings just a hint of luxury.
