NEW PaperArtsy Products: Mags Woodcock {May 2026}

A note from Leandra:

Mags worked her socks off on this release. As a new designer there is often a settling in period, figuring our what works in a practical sense to become a stamp (or stencil), and how to whittle down the many designs you might have in your head into an offering that gets fingers itching to create! Well,  she did her all to get the numerous elements to be as flexible as possible. Whether you buy one or more sets, there is a lot you can do with all the elements within each set, and even more in combination! Once you see her ideas with the designs, you will soon see what is on offer here is something quite exceptional!

Mags will be LIVE over in our Facebook Group, 'PaperArtsy People' shortly after this post publishes, and remember, all our new releases are available EXCLUSIVELY from our approved stockists. Please check the list at the foot of this post to find a retailer online or geographically near you, it makes sense to order within your country where possible.

Our retailers endeavour to join the designer's live to share their direct shopping links in the live chat - this makes it easy for you to find a store with product in stock immediately.

Hello everyone. Mags here with you today

I am excited to share with you my second collection of A5 stamps and stencils for PaperArtsy.

This collection is called Love Is All Around. It celebrates love in all it's many forms, love for family, friends, the planet, but last but not least, love of craft. I think we can all agree, there is room for more love between us all in this turbulent world.

The collection encompasses vintage elements; text and numbers, along side hand-drawn doodles and stencils. There are collage style stamps, ephemera and standout marks, offering a wealth of creative opportunities.

I look forward to sharing the new collection with you and seeing how they inspire you.

Red Rubber Stamps (A5 set)
Price: RRP €23.00 +VAT
Size:5" x 6" (13 x16.5cm)
All stamps are individually trimmed onto cling foam, with a laminated storage/index sheet.

In this stamp release there are 3 sets that have a wide array of interesting elements within to offer versatility and flexibility. Each set has one or 2 focal stamps, or collaged clusters. Look closely and you will also find many ephemeral elements that you can use to extend the clusters, or add extra details into your backgrounds, perhaps with coloured inks, stamped watery infusions and so much more.

Eclectica Mags Woodcock Set 004 (EMW004)

A Vintage Love

Love is all around in this journal spread, you can see I have used lots of the stamps from EMW004 to create a vintage spread . The photo shows a family wedding from the past, I love the fashions from that era.

Stamping the large collage stamp onto the page along with the love cluster stamp gave some nice details to the background . I used Infusions in Rusty car (CS17) and A Bit jaded (CS02) to add colour to the hearts and flowers before fussy cutting, and then layering both under and over the photo.

Combining the stamps with stencil PS516's foliage flourish worked a treat, A small cluster of flowers and the Romance stamp added a smaller focal to the left hand page.

The small strip of stamped "0's" add interest and a random border to the page.

Sent With Love

Greeting cards are aways handy to have on hand and this one would be perfect for many occasions. Again I used 'Rusty Car' and 'A Bit Jaded' Infusions to add colour to the hearts and flowers.

Notice the semi solid stamped blocks at the bottom right of the card, they add a contrast to the lighter areas of the card and tie in with the other black stamped areas of the collage stamp.

Eclectica Mags Woodcock Set 005 (EMW005)

With All Our Hearts

This panel is one of my favourite makes so far from this release, it uses every stamp from EMW005.

The background has several layers of white gesso and Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic Seaglass (FF139).  The stamping was heat embossed before more colour was added using sprays of 'A Bit Jaded' and 'Rusty Car' Infusions.

The large and small hearts have been given the grunge treatment with black pigment ink and Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic 'Cerulean' (FF200), with a wash of 'A Bit Jaded'  or 'Rusty Car' Infusions.

Here you can see the detail and layered elements from the stamp set

Layering the word stamps over the hearts works well, as does heat embossing the label stamps in black.

Mix and Match

The collage stamps work well as focal elements, but also are handy for background stamping. Here I used them in different orientations on three panels of Smoothy card.

On each background I varied the placement of the main stamp. The colour is Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic 'Turquoise', 'A Bit Jaded' and 'Rusty Car' Infusions.

On this panel I particularly like the imperfect stamping of the heart layered with the number and text, It gives a distressed look to the background.

Mounting the panels onto striped back corrugated cardboard adds to the distressed look.

Another close up of that intentional distressed stamping, with over stamping. of the numbers and text

The word stamps can be stamped, cut out and layered over the original stamped words, thus changing the message. Here 'Dream' is changed to 'Love', and the word 'Big' added above.

The grunged up hearts have a great impact on the panels, especially when layered over the plain black stamped heart

Eclectica Mags Woodcock Set 006 (EMW006)

Love Life, Love You

I love to create in my square journal, and this time chose to stamp and heat emboss in white before spritzing on 'Rusty Car' and  a touch of 'A bit Jaded' Infusions.

Adding on separately stamped and coloured hearts, words and tags carried through the colour of the background whilst adding contrast

The flowers and numbers draw the eye to the focal area of the page, adding interest. I added a hand drawn border around the number two before cutting out.

A Trio of Tags

I love to create tags, especially in sets of three. These are another favourite make from the samples in this release, rusty and slightly grungy.

This first tag uses the largest collage stamp from the set, you can also see a stencilled image peeking out. More of that later.

This second tag used the smaller ephemera from the set to create a collage across the tag, again with a sneaky peek of a stencil.

The third tag in the set uses the smaller collage stamp combined with some of the smaller stamps. I think you can spot the stencil quite easily on this one.

The flower cluster and postmark add interest and height to the tag. I used a ball tool on the flower and layered  two together.

The love definition stamp is great to add on for interest , overlapping the edge of the tag.

In this photo I hope you can see how I used the torn ring binding stamp to add definition to the focal area of the tag, guiding the eye to the flower.

When designing the stamps in this release, it really was a labour of love (Leandra's words) . Through all the twists and turns of the design process, I held on to the thought of love and all it's many forms. I hope you love them as much as I do, and also share your art created with them, to spread the love.

PaperArtsy Stencils {Regular}
Price: RRP €5.64 + VAT
Regular Size: 6.5" x 7" (16 x 18cm)
Robust 250 micron mylar designed to offer longevity, deep texture and easy clean up

The three stencils in this release, like the stamps, have got quite a lot packed into them. From flourishes and foliage fronds that cascade beautifully behind focal points or at the edge of your journal pages, to music, numbers, spots, all handy for layers and contrast. There are some heart focal elements, and torn paper waste, perfect for bold or subtle layers within other collaged elements. Let's take a closer look at the possibilities ...

PaperArtsy Stencil 515 (PS515)

Pretty as a Picture

For this mini make I used the smaller elements from the stencil PS515. Using my fingers to apply Grunge Paste (GP190) through the stencil for a lighter distressed look.

Sponging on green ink brought out the texture and highlighted the stencilling.

Sometimes using just a small part of the stencil is just enough, as with this project.  Don't you think my mum looks cute too ?

Love Hearts

When I was designing these stamps and stencils, one of my main aims was for them to combine and contrast. Here you can see how the organic soft flowing lines of the stencilled heart (PS515) contrast against the strong linear elements in the stamps.

The grungy hearts make up a trio with the stencilled image. The openness of the stencil works well with the solid forms

Adding white penwork to the stencilled heart is quick and easy, but can make a big difference.

PaperArtsy Stencil 516 (PS516)

The Key to my Heart

This stencil is probably my favourite and I'm sure will be used on so many projects. I love the organic way it curves around the stamping on this panel

Adding the white penwork brings it to life and adds contrast against the black inking. I also slightly off set the raised distressed heart on top of the base stamping.

Masking off parts of the stamping is easy and allows the stencilled image to wind it's way through the image

Love to Create

Sometimes small simple journal pages are just what's needed on a busy day. So this example shows how using one stencil and a few stamps can create a fun page.

Stamping one of the small text stamps through the stencil adds interest and texture.

Again masking off the stamped image creates a layered look.

PaperArtsy Stencil 517 (PS517)

Dream Love

I couldn't finish creating my samples for this release without including one of my A4 journal pages. The last stencil in the set is ideal for such a page.

Here I inked through the stencil twice, aligning with the left hand edge of the journal page

The dots and ovals on this part of the stencil were designed with my vintage typewriter, then enlarged. Here I added white penwork on the top of black inking.

You may be able to spot one of my mini stamps from my first release at work here (EM152), along with more grungy hearts.

Music and Love is all Around

Simple stencilling tells the story here. Both couples love to dance ! Whether it be in the background or centre stage, as here, we all love a music score.

A bit of background stamping and layered elements combine with a couple of photo booth pics. I was tempted to add Grunge Paste through the stencil, but decided against it on this occasion, opting for a less dimensional look.

Can't you just imagine them off to a dance ?

One of the things that I wanted with this collection of three stencils was adaptability. I wanted them to work on their own but also combine with the stamp sets to create interesting combinations and contrasts. I feel that we have achieved that and much more. I look forward to seeing how you use them and the combinations you come up with.

I hope you enjoy using and creating with this new release, I had great fun designing them and creating the samples. I can't wait to combine them with my previous releases. Don't forget to visit the PaperArtsy People Facebook page for tons of inspiration from the lovely crafters in the group.

A HUGE thank you to the PaperArtsy crew for making these stamps and stencils, and making all this creativity possible!
