Something
different from Etsuko to what we usually see and I love it! She has
made 2 delightful cards using her chosen stamps from each of the
following 4 collections: Emma Godfrey, Sara Naumann, Jo Firth-Young,
plus a mini stamp.I love the stripped-back style of these and how the pink colour pops!

Hi everyone, it's Etsuko (My favorite things) with you today, and I'm here to share with you wonderful PaperArtsy stamps mush up with Jo Firth Young, Sara Naumann and Emma Godfrey
I've been making on a many mixed media projects lately, and today I'd like to show you two simple flowers cards I made.
I started with the background. I cut the Smoothly (Heavyweight) 4A white stamping card into 8 x 5 inch pieces and applied Fresco Chalk Acrylic (Cerulean, Guacamole, Sage and Snowflake)
in that order from the bottom to the middle. Fresco paint dries
quickly, so I mix it with a little Golden ( Retarder ) with Fresco
Paint. PaperArtsy has their own Drying Retarder, you can use that too, you only need a few drops.
When the first gradation of color is dry, use Jo Firth-Young Mini 14 (JM14) with Fresco Chalk Acrylic (Sage and Snowflake) and gradually add Snowflake from the bottom to lighten the color and stamp all over.
At the end of the background, I used Fresco Chalk Acrylic (Hint of Mint) with Jo Firth-Young Stencil 022 (PS022).
I then stamped the large and small circles from Emma Godfrey Set 15 ( EEG15 ) on the three places with VersaFine Clair ( Nocturne )
For the focal point petals, I finger painted Fresco Chalk Acrylic (Bubble Gum, Cherry Blossom, Peach Nectar and Blush) on Smoothy ( Heavyweight ) A4 white stamping card and used the lovely Jo Firth-Young Set 62 (JOFY62) stamped with VersaFine Clair (Nocturne). I cut and pasted them on the background.
The quote from Sara Naumann Set 10 (ESN10) are stamped by VersaFine Clair (Nocturne) then embossed with Ranger Embossing Powder (Clear), dark green kraft paper and Smoothy ( Heavyweight ) A4 white stamping card underneath.
For the background of the next card, I used Fresco Chalk Acrylic (Turquoise, Guacamole and Blue Oyster) with lots of water and Gel-printing for a watercolor touch.
Since
there is only one flower used here, I decided to add the circular
texture to the back. First I colored the edge of the circle with Ranger
Archival ink ( Sky Blue ), embossed three times with Ranger UT Embossing
Powder, and then stamped Sara Naumann Set 10 (ESN10) with the same Ranger Archival ink (Sky Blue) while it's hot.
The petals, stem and leaves were painted with Fresco Chalk Acrylic (Candy Floss and Blush) and (Winter Green and Sage) on Smoothy (Heavyweight) A4 white stamping card using brayer for each. When dry, I stamped Jo Firth-Young Set 52 (JOFY52) with VersaFine Clair (Nocturne).
Here's a closer look, I used watercolored pencils to add a little shading to the petals.
Finally, I stamped Sara Naumann Set 16 ( ESN16
) quote with VersaFine Clair ( Nocturne ) on a piece of leftover paper,
cut and pasted it. It's been a while since I've made a card, but I got
carried away and had a lot of fun. The gel-printing with a lot of water
gave an unexpected result, and I will try it again.
Thank you so much for visiting.
Take care and stay safe all.
