2019 Topic 11: Retro Colour Palettes
A
really interesting start to Etsuko's background of collaged scrap
papers. Her images pop on top with a 50's inspired retro colour palette.

Hi everyone, it's Etsuko My favorite things with you today, and I'd like to share with you 'Tea time memo pad' using Raquel's fancy Scrapcosy stamps.
I like the design and colours in the 50's and here I expressed it using the collage technique.
These are my colours palette I used. My impression of 50's colour palette is matte, so I mixed Snowflake Fresco a little with transparent and semi-transparent colours.
First
of all, I pasted various book pages, letter scripts, book papers,
stamped papers, stenciled papers etc. with gel medium, added my home
made stamps and colours on the Smoothy White Stamping card, and made the master board.
I chosen the master board part and made five cards, also added a little colours.
I chosen the master board part and made five cards, also added a little colours.
The card on the right cup is painted Captain Peacock then embossed black using ESC16 stamp. On the left is painted mixed Pixie Dust and Orchid using ESC15 stamp. Both used Smoothy White Card.
These cards used ESC16 stamps and Fresco Paints used Chartreuse on the left and Autumn Fire on the right.
The fifth card used ESC16 stamp and Fresco Paint Zucchini and each card is tagged stamp by ESC15.
This
card can be used either when you were invited or when you will have
guests. And you can write down what was fun at that time.
The cover stenciled the PS133 with Captain Peacock and Chartreuse Fresco and letter Tea time embossed black using PS107 stencil.
The matchbook inside is stenciled by black gesso and the flap painted by Autumn Fire Fresco.
Thank you so much for visiting.
