NEW PaperArtsy Products {Tracy Scott} August 2018

NEW PaperArtsy Products - August 2018
 Eclectica³ Collection {Tracy Scott}

Tracy always brings plenty of colour and pizazz to her range, and here she is adding with a new series of 3 stamps and stencils. If you have seen her 'lace' pages on instagram, you will have one idea of how these might be used, but there are many more ideas to check out below too. ~Leandra

Hi everyone, Tracy here to show you my newest stamps designed for PaperArtsy.

I'm so very excited with this new release, most of you will already know that I love doodled florals and I absolutely adore butterflies so I really was inspired this time to combine the 2 elements into 3 new stamp sets.
You will see from my samples today that these really are the most versatile stamps with a multitude of uses, from creating that special greetings card to a fabulous page in your Art Journal or maybe an amazing piece of home dΓ©cor.
All of the new releases are also compatible with all my previous stamp sets so the possibilities for your creativity really are endless.

I can't wait to show you my new releases and there's an art sample for each new product too so grab a cuppa, sit back and expect to see a full explosion of colour.....I hope you enjoy.

Eclectica³ Tracy Scott Set 20 (ETS20)

Aahhh beautiful butterflies !!!....have I told you I love a butterfly !!....I really enjoyed using the stamp as my focal image for this ATC.

As its not too detailed it means that the colours coming through from the background really make an impact, I can see this one being a staple favourite in lots of my upcoming projects.

Eclectica³ Tracy Scott Set 21 (ETS21)

I always do a lot of layering with my stamps but sometimes (especially if working in an art journal) this can add lots of bulk to my pages.

For a few of my samples I layered my stamping by using the masking technique and added shadows with a black charcoal pencil,  this really does give a 3D look without any of the bulk!

I loved working with this technique and will definitely been doing this more in the future and as all of the flowers from the new sets as well as the older releases all work fantastically together I can never see me growing tired of the possibilities.

Eclectica³ Tracy Scott Set 22 (ETS22)

Colour is most definitely my 'thing' and who doesn't love to see a beautiful bright butterfly fluttering around....did I mention I love a butterfly hehe !!

Another ATC here using the same layering technique as before allows all of those delicious rich colours to shine through making him pop right off the card....small card big impact I think!!

Tracy's New Stencils

Price: RRP £4.60 +VAT
Size: Regular 6.5" x 7" (16cm x 18cm)

PaperArtsy Stencil {ETS} 109 (PS109)

I have been playing a lot recently in my art journal with hand cut lace pages and this led me to create my new stencil/mask designs, perfect for cards, scrapbook pages, art journals and more, I have created large designs that will have a real impact to a project and smaller designs to add interesting elements to your designs.
Perfect for Gelli Printing and can also be used as templates to add your own hand cut designs to your projects.
I just adore them all !!

PaperArtsy Stencil {ETS} 110 (PS110)

This sample was created using the stencil/mask as a template, I drew the template onto a piece of white card and then set about cutting all of the elements out with my craft knife (its a little tricky to keep to the lines so I just turned the piece over when finished cutting to avoid having to try to rub out pencil lines) alternatively you could paint the piece once cut.

I cut a whole if my project just a fraction smaller that my cut piece and then glued together, this painted piece was then mounted onto black card with 3D foam for maximum impact.
Looks pretty special doesn't it?

PaperArtsy Stencil {ETS} 111 (PS111)

I used the smaller stencil/mask to add some interest to the background on this page, I love the fact that the design compliments the larger focal image and does really enforce the design of this art journal piece.

You can see some more of my design projects below using the same techniques and I hope that they inspire you to create your own fantastic pieces.

Project One: Layered Page

Journal page project using the masking technique, I combined floral stamps from the 3 new release sets and added one of the fabulous quotes from Alison Bomber.

Project Two: 3D Greeting Card

I don't make cards very often these days but when I do I like to go all out!! for this project I created a master board using my favourite fresco finish colours and then stamped and cut out all my floral element images, this were then arranged and attached to the base of my card to create a real 'WOW' factor.

Probably not the best idea if you want to send in the post but my goodness wouldn't you be thrilled to receive a card like this?

 Project Three: Panel

I adore using all the fabulous PaperArtsy colours on my projects and love nothing more that combining these with black and white elements.

On this panel I painted the whole background in black and white stripes adding a little gold foil along the lines for added interest. the flowers were created with the same master board technique that I used for my card. The fabulous quote from Alison Bomber really finishes off my panel beautifully.

Project Four: Black and White

Masking off the edge of this page before doing the stamp masking technique gives a lovely smart clean crisp effect that really makes the rest of the piece pop. I kept the whole card black and white other that the pop of colour from the butterfly (did I mention I like butterflies !!).... the butterfly was stamped on a piece of leftover master board before cutting and mounting onto the project.

 Project Five: Dreamcatcher

My last project for this release is this colourful dreamcatcher page in my art journal. The stencil/mask just shouted at me 'Dreamcatcher' and who was I to ignore it?

Creating a colourful master board and then stenciling with Pea Coat paint made the base of my page, I also used the stencil/mask to draw some of my hanging feathers onto the painted card before cutting out to arrange of my page.  Using the smaller mask in gold in the background reinforces the image and I just love how this one has turned out.

This has been a fantastic release for me and one of my favourites to date (I think the newest release is always my favourite hehe), I am really inspired to keep creating with these new designs and I hope I have provided you with some inspiration today too.
I would just love to see what you create and how you interpret the designs in your own projects.  you can find me on social media and links are added below.
