Loving Bryan's Creative sewing on this fun and useful holder for your tools! He always discovers something unexpected! ~ Leandra
Hi everyone, it's Bryan from Geezercrafter with
you today, and I'd like to share with you my project using one of the
Baked Texture's, in conjunction with some Ellen Vargo stamps.
As I had three sides to my vessel, I thought I would try 3 different techniques using the Baked Texture.
As I had three sides to my vessel, I thought I would try 3 different techniques using the Baked Texture.
A watery mix of Fresco Chalk Acrylic Paint in Very Berry and Eggplant for the first layer. Totally unexpected when I used a thicker mix, the brayer just picked up the creases in the fabric. A 'free' texture!!. A blob of Zesty Zing to add some further interest.
Versamark on this fab stamp to adhere the Baked Texture in Deep Sea. Love this stamp reminds me of Kantha Stitching.
After some pattern building with Zesty Zing, I used Seth's monoprinting technique and used some tacky glue onto some glossy cardstock and transferred this to the fabric. Love this effect, very random.
This has to be my favourite technique, some double sided adhesive sheet. Added piles of texture until I had a molten pile, then pushed in a stamp, after which a paintbrush loaded with Zesty Zing.
I had great fun using this product, so many ways to incorporate within various creations. I would love to try Rocky Road, imagine some Fresco's drizzled over all of those larger lumps!!
Working on fabric, I thought may cause some problems, but I was presently surprised how the Baked Texture performed. I can think of lots of ways to add this to my collages, very exciting times ahead!. Looking forward to seeing how you play and experiment with the Baked Textures.
Thank you for joining me today, and Happy Baking!!!
