Elena is an amazing illustrator who brings a good dose of humour to her designs. Always throwing something new into the mix, this time we have some fantastic houses, and a few new inhabitants for those homes too! As always, some great words to accompany, and other useful embellishment elements too. Whether it is card-making, journalling or just playing about, Elena's stamps offer just the right amount of whimsy to generate that perfect warm-fuzzy feeling.

Hi everyone, Elena here to show you my newest stamps designed for PaperArtsy.

I'm so excited because tonight my little monsters have some new friends who have come along to join them. Everyone needs a place to call home, so I've added some quirky houses for them to live in. When you need somewhere to hang your hat, why not make it the roof of your house! 

I love making handmade cards and often I'll do them in batches leaving space to add the sentiment when the occasion arises. I also journal every day - yes, every day - because if the truth be known, when I don't keep my hands busy they somehow find themselves in the biscuit tin; whoops!

Tonight I want to give you a sense of what I might get up to with these stamps, but over the next 2 nights, you'll get plenty more inspiration from 2 other fantastic bloggers in their preferred style.

Home is where the heart is by Elena

I love stamping slightly off the page for cards and this house stamp is big enough to do that while still leaving lots of detail and adding the smaller stamps as embellishments, they stamp beautifully. 

I'm going to repeat stamp them all on blank newsprint sheets to make wrapping paper then use coloured raffia to finish off.

Pattern repeats can be used to create abstract designs too, colour brings them to life.

Here's the house again in a different colour palette, i think it's fun to make little storybook cards so here's Betsy who has just left the house to go into town..

Evening Zinskaholics..... Lauren here with a very quick journal page for you this evening. When I saw Elena's amazing, fun-filled new designs, I couldn't bear to miss out on a trip to my second home - Zinskopolis! 

Whilst on my travels, I managed to get a few of the newer residents to stop for a moment for a photo call.... I can see they're already up to mischief but I have no idea what they're up to. 

SAY CHEESE!

Aren't they GORGEOUS! I just LOVE the expressions on their faces and the way their eyes all look in different directions, so you can play around with your character placement. It really makes them come alive.

As ever, there are lots of lovely elements you can play around with, so I've used the lamp post from ZA13 along with the lovely wibbly circle from ZA14 to make the sun. You can see I used the lamp post again to mark the brow of the hill. The little hanging flowers and hearts are just lovely aren't they. Everything is multi tasking and everything fits together beautifully. You can't go wrong.

I DON'T NEED THERAPY. I NEED ZINSKI ART!!! AND SO DO YOU..... Enjoy!

(Ok, so I probably DO need just a little bit of therapy... and CAKE! I need LOTS of CAKE!)
