2020 Topic 20: Mason Jars
Kate has a genius idea for swatching, that looks as beautiful as it is useful. She's given us 3 fabulous projects for the price of one, and I will definitely be nicking (borrowing) her swatching idea!

Hi everyone, it's Kate with you today, and I'd like to share my mason jar project.
Mason jars are in use everyday in my kitchen but I also I love using them for storage elsewhere in my house. I thought this would be the perfect project to create pretty containers to store my artist brushes. They have been sitting in their original packaging for far too long.
I started off by spraying a strip of cardstock with Rocky Road Infusions.
I stamped and cut out a paint tube for every PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Paint that I own.
Each paint tube was labeled and painted with the corresponding paint.
I attached the decorated strip to the jar and started adding embellishments.
A bit of bakers twine was added to the top of each jar.
I really enjoyed making these pretty jars to store my paint brushes. Now, I need to clean off my desk so I have a place to display them. I hope you will give the jars in your pantry an extra thought before discarding them in the trash. A little bit of paper, paint and stamping can really transform a jar into a piece of art that doubles as storage.
Until Next Time,
Kate
