Hi everyone, Keren is with you to share some stunning ideas with Jo's new stamps announced yesterday here, but first up, here's a quick reminder of her newest stamps. 

 

    

 

Hi everyone, it's Keren with you today, and I'd like to share with you how one of Jo's new stamp sets can be used so differently.

I think it's easy to fall into the trap of using a stamp set for one type of project and then leaving it and moving to another set. JoFY designs can be bold, clean and simple and delicate too.

For this notebook, after doing a crackle base using Fresco Finish - Crackle Glaze

Stamping and heat embossing on Dura-Lar (a plastic vellum type product) means you can heat emboss without warping and it makes a lovely surface to add alcohol markers onto. It will fold with a 'bounce' back so you can flatten it and it will spring back.

 

From the delicate to the manoeuvrable.. the doodled parts of the images can give way to an almost spider-esque treatment. Simply stamp the image again, cut out the inner parts and then attach to the base flower (which has been doodled and stamped with one of the tiniest circle stamps).

One of the things Jo does consistently well, is provide varied images that work so well with each other. In the next project I stamped the leaves over and then stamped the circles and used them for tiny flowers. They're simply coloured with alcohol markers.

I was so inspired using these different sets (although I've only focused on the one!). I hope these 3 projects have you itching to get the stamp sets for yourself. I can't wait to do some wall art with the flowers in my craft room and love the larger size of bloom.
