NEW PA Products {by Emma Godfrey}

Hi Everyone, Leandra here with some amazing new stamps by Emma Godfrey...

Emma has created another set of 3 stamps that have a hint of seasonal about them (Spooky and Wintery) yet that don;t have to be used that way at all, so there is that magic versatility meaning they will work so well for scrapbooking your Xmas or Halloween memories, treat bags, bunting, cards, journalliing and much more!

So lets take a closer look at the actual stamps

I'll hand over now to Emma who will introduce her new products, and share with you a few ideas. Enjoy and don;t forget to leave us your comments!

~ Leandra

Hi everyone, Emma here to show you my newest stamps designed for PaperArtsy.

These three sets continue with my art journaling style stamps. Leandra asked me to design with Halloween and Christmas in mind, but I also wanted the stamps to be able to be used all year round and for a variety of projects ... hence the themes of Magic, Sparkle and Shine.

Project One: Magic Is Everywhere (EEG21)

Tonight we start with my take on a quick and easy "clean and simple" Halloween card.

Step 1: I cut a piece of A4 Smoothy to 4"x4", and stamped half of the small swirl once in the middle of each edge, and then filled in the corners using Jet Black Archival Ink.  I coloured in the negative areas of the swirls with purple and green pens.

Step 2: The quote was stamped onto a spare piece of Smoothy using Leaf Green Archival Ink. I trimmed the quote, and then mounted it onto black cardstock. The stamped piece of card was also mounted onto black cardstock, and everything was stuck together. I added a little bit of purple glitter glue around one of the layers.

Extra Notes: I really like the idea of using the swirls as a scalloped border - it gives you a completely different look.

Project Two: Twinkle Twinkle (EEG20)

This project is in a frame - perfect for a new baby's nursery?

Step 1: The background was created by sprinkling Infusions (A Bit Jaded, Emerald Isle and Lemoncello) onto a piece of Heavy Smoothy, and spraying them with water. Because I wanted a soft look, I blotted off the excess with some kitchen towel. Stencil the star border (PS020) with Buttercup Archival Ink, and dry the piece of card thoroughly. Next stamp and heat emboss the stars with a brass embossing powder.

Step 3: Stamp the tiny star using Garden Patina Archival Ink, and use a Sharpie Extra Fine White paint pen to highlight the larger stars.  I also added some dots using the wrong end of a paint brush and Fresco Finish Snowflake paint.

Step 4: Stamp the quote using Garden Patina Archival Ink, cut it out and then edge the pieces with Coffee Archival Ink.  Position the background and quote in the frame mount, and stick together.

Extra Notes: I think this stamp set is going to prove to be so versatile - who doesn't like and need stars stamps in all different sizes!

Project Three: Don't Be Afraid To Sparkle (EEG19)
My last project is an art journal page with lots of bling.

Step 1: Scrape Fresco Finish Snowflake onto the black pages.  Using your fingers, add areas of Fresco Finish Mermaid, Pixie Dust and White Fire. Dry throughly before moving onto the next step.

Step 2: Stamp and heat emboss the sparkle shapes using a glitter embossing powder (I used WOW Mermaid Tails), and the large word in black embossing powder.   To fill in some of the space use a Sharpie Extra Fine white paint pen and a black journaling pen to add some doodling, and stamp the tiny star (EEG20) in Jet Black Archival Ink.

Step 3: To finish, stamp and heat emboss your quote on some black cardstock using a bright white embossing powder. Trim to size, arrange and then glue onto your art journal page.

Extra Notes: This just seemed to be the perfect layout to start off my new black art journal. I love the way the opaque paints and glitter embossing powder are set off by the dark background.

So there you go - I hope you like them as much as I do. I can't wait to see what you create with them!
