Show News: Ally Pally and Version Scrap

Hi everyone, Leandra here, it is all go here at PaperArtsy HQ as we are busy preparing for 2 upcoming shows.

The first is our annual trip to France where you will find us at Version Scrap. The second show is closer to home at Alexandra Palace, affectionally known as Ally Pally.

Details for both shows such as who is demoing on the stand, make and takes etc are below.



Version Scrap (new venue) is Cite Mode et du Design 34 Quai D'Austerlitz, 75013, Paris
Closest Metro: Gare d'Austerlitz (line 5/10) or Quai de la Gare (line 6)

Show hours:
Thurs 7th April (VIP evening - entrance by ticket only) 18:00-2030
Fri 8th April 09:30- 18:30
Sat 9th April 09:30 - 18:30
Sun 10th April 10:00 - 18:00

The team on site is:
Mark and Audrey (cashiers)
Lin Brown (chief demonstrator)
Sally (Lin's interpreter and product assistant)
Dounia (Make and Takes and demonstrator)
Florence (Make and Takes and demonstrator)
and we will have a 'Mr Security' on the stand as usual too.

Lin Brown will be doing all kinds of interesting demos featuring lots of products including her latest stamps.

JOFY - JoFY/ EKC stamps (Sat 9:00-12:30)
Lucy - Image Transfers with floral stamps (12:30-2:00)

Kim Dellow - EKD + ELB stamps (Sat 2:00-5:00)

I will be getting inky painty with Gelli plates teamed with JOFY and Kay Carley's Eclectica stamps. (NB a little birdie tells me there will be new mini gelli plates on the stand)


I'll be showing you how to use Golden Gel Medium to transfer images onto canvas panels and then decorate them with the latest Lin Brown stamps, stencils, and frescos. It's my first time demoing and I'd love you to say Hello!

Hi guys, come and watch me stamping with PaperArtsy Frescos to build texture and generally make a hopefully artful mess!

Saturday Demos: Desk 2

I'll be stencilling, stamping, doodling and colouring, making stress free mini works of art. Come into the Zen-Zone!


I'll be showing you how to use stamps to make cute animals and anything else that comes to mind!

Sunday Demos: Desk 1
Debs W - HP/ EEA with ranger collage mediums/ slick stix (Sun 10-11:30)
Jo M -  (Sun 11:30 - 1)
Alison Hall - ESN Mixed media paint/ gels/ infusions (Sun 1:00-2:30)

In my journal I'll be using paint, crayons, mediums and texture brushes to get lots interest I'll be using Hot Pick stamps as well as Everything Art 1. Hope you come over and say hello!

 I'll be showing how to make backgrounds for tags and cards using Fresco paints and the Hotpicks and A6 collage stamps. 


I'll be using PaperArtsy Fresco paints and glazes, Prima gels and mediums, and new PaperArtsy Infusions, with Sara Naumann stamps and stencils. I'll also show you how to incorporate teabag papers in your art for texture and stamping on.

We have lots of new products to share with you at both shows! Here are a few examples of what we will have on the stands. First let's revisit a video that we made at Stitches Product Release Show back in February. This shows all our latest stamps, stencils, paints, Niche Kits and Infusions Powders.

  13. @Leandra you can feel safe: Although we missed you, Lin made amazing demos of your fabulous new products and is more and more inspiring, Sally was busy as a bee translating and Mark did a great job at the cash desk to limit the wait queue and was nice with everyone as usual. Looking foward to next year already.
