I started by painting my canvas with Snowflake and then a smooth layer of Grunge Paste onto the front. Once dry I stamped on a variety of images from Eclectica Clare Lloyd 01 and Eclectica Sara Naumann 10 using archival black ink.

To start adding colour I mixed up equal parts of Limelight/water to make my own spray paint and spritzed onto the canvas.
Now for some stenciling using Mermaid paint and JOFY 007/008 stencil.
Time to embellish. I created my own decorative deli paper using Mermaid paint, some of my Limelight spritz and some Snowflake stenciling. Then stamped and cut out some flowers from Eclectica Clare Lloyd 01.
Finally I layered up some flowers/ leaves onto the canvas (gluing images down with Matt Glaze) and did some doodling around the word bloom using a Pigma pen, added the word 'just' using a sentiment from Eclectica Clare Lloyd 01.
I hope you have fun creating your own garden full of blooms.

A huge thanks to Clare from all at PaperArtsy for this fresh and zingy canvas. A real treat to brighten up the darker winter days. That first layer of stamping is such a great way to start a project, it gives a great base layer and eliminates that scary expanse of white.
