Hi everyone, Liesbeth here, it's great to be back at the PaperArtsy blog to show you how I made this big card !
I used the wonderful Smoothy Heavy cardstock, a 12 x 12 cm piece. I painted a kind of landscape with Fresco Acrylic paints : Irish cream, Nougat, Sky and a bit of Pea Coat, I blended the colours a bit.
This time I chose some of my all time favourite older PaperArtsy stamps ! With black StazOn ink, I stamped the houses (HotPick1110) at the bottom of the card, and stamped bits and pieces of it several times above the first, without inking the stamp again, so the image will be less and less dark.

I also stamped some fragments of the map (HotPick Xtra01) and painted the houses here and there with watered down Pea Coat Fresco paint.

I took another piece of Smoothy Heavy cardstock (17 x 17 cm) and painted the border the same way using some more of the lights.
With black StazOn again, I stamped the compass (HotPick1110) and the gothic script (Ink&theDog Winter wonderland plate 1) , sometimes without inking the stamp again. I painted the compasses with some Pea Coat paint again.
I stamped the text and the wings (Ink&theDog Winter wonderland Plate 1) onto a separate piece of paper, cut them out and coloured it a bit with some Distress ink. I coloured the edges of every piece with a gold pen and adhered the cards onto black cardstock. I glued down a metal embellishment.
Then finished the card with the text and wings by using foam-tape as shown. As there was still an empty area, I attached another metal piece.
Here is a close up of the town scene, fading into the distance.
Well, hope you like it ! It was very nice to make this and it was as always a pleasure to work with this gorgeous stamps and products ! Hope to see you next time !
