Hi everyone, Gillian here {don't all thud to the floor in shock lol}. I hope you are enjoying the new semester as much as we are so far. We have some fab Guest Designers coming your way over the next few weeks .... best say no more {lips sealed}!! Anyway I have been allowed sneaked out *cough* from behind the scenes to have a little play.
Tonight's project simply consists of building up the layers and stamping ...
The layers on the 4x6 Box Canvas consist of the following Fresco Finish Paints - Irish Cream, Caramel, Lake Wanaka, Space Cadet, French Roast and Crackle Glaze.
I've used the "Bumped Technique" as shown HERE using the Mini Brocade 6x6 Crafters Workshop Stencil. The script stamp is from HP1303EZ followed by some splatterings of Snowflake and Little Black Dress.
The main images are from the Eclectica Collection using EDY09, EEV01 and ESN09. I randomly applied some of the above paints using an old credit card to a piece of Smoothy White Stamping Card before stamping the feathers using Archival Ink Jet Black.
I've used the left over painted card to stamp the quote from ESN09 and then over stamped the stenciled layer using the "lines" image from ESN11
To finish I've simply added some wire netting, a metal embellishment and of course more Snowflake splatterings
I hope you have enjoyed tonights project and are inspired throughout this month to join in with any of our designers in our new monthly challenge. It sure has been good being back this side of the blog.
~Gillian~
