Bag Charm {with Lynne Perrella Stamps by Helen Chilton}

Hi Everyone, Helen here, with a bag charm made from Stampbord. I've always loved this stuff and the Lynne Perrella stamps are particularly effective on it as they're so detailed.
Take your Stampbord tile and stamp the face from Lynne Perrella 028 in StazOn Jet Black:

Then use the wave pattern from the ship lady on Lynne Perrella 010 to add a border:

Rub on a selection of Distress inks keeping the face fairly light:

Darken the edges by rubbing directly inkpads onto the tile:

Start to etch out details with a scraper tool:

Etch as much as you like, thick lines, thin lines, tiny details:

Use a Cropadile to punch holes through the Stampbord and then add beads, chain and embellishments:

And there you have it, a tiny piece of wearable art.
Helen

A huge thanks to Helen from paperArtsy HQ, this might be a tiny piece of art, but oh so effective. This could double as an embellishment on a card... and then be taken off and used by the recipient on a bag, or pencil case, a key fob or as a book charm. The LPC stamps are just perfect for using in Stampbord, it is a great surface for all those fine details.
