Hi everyone Darcy here. Last week Penny joined us for her first week as GD. Her projects were just fabulous, ok so I am a little biased as they used my stamps, but wow! She brought us a carousel, a pond and the most beautiful pet rock! Then Helen from 'down under' showed us some gorgeous texture on a journal page. One of our #patwits Deborah, showed us her seed storage, with just the most gorgeously blended background. Finally, we ended the week with a brand new mini feature, Clare made a tag wrap and included the first in her series of faces on tags. Be sure to catch her next one in June.
Thanks to everyone who joined in and made projects last week. We, and the designers truly love seeing your creations. Thank you for leaving all your positive comments, it means so much to us and the designers. In addition to the weekly challenges don't forget we have a monthly journalling challenge, you only have 5 days left to enter the latest one HERE.

2. The week ahead...
Hi everyone, Leandra here introducing our newest Guest Designer! Tonight we welcome a brand new guest designer, Kate Yetter On one of the rare occasions where I get to sit with a coffee and browse blogland: I came across Kate's blog. I was drawn to her eclectic style, noting her mix of scrapping and mixed media, with both ink and paint and lots of texture. Each project yielded more details each time I looked. I love that, peering beyond the layers to discover interesting tidbits. Here's a few words from Kate ...
3. P.A.Weekly Challenge from....{Kate and other guests}
"Hello! I am so thrilled to be a guest designer for PaperArtsy. I
discovered PaperArtsy several years ago after I bought my first two sets of
Lynne Perrella Stamps. I am on a tight budget when it comes to crafting so
these were a splurge. I started following the PaperArtsy blog about a year ago
and l have enjoyed joining in their challenges. Their stamps are everything that I love… vintage, attention to detail,
eclectic and elegant.
I
have been crafting in one form or another since I was a child. I loved
watercolor painting until I had children. Now that my time is limited I find
mixed media art more to my liking. I enjoy creating projects that preserve
family memories that I will be able to pass on to my kids. I am not much of a
scrap booker so I make a lot of canvases, mini albums, art journals and altered
art.
I
started my blog, http://scrapyardthe.wordpress.com
several years ago. I like that it provides motivation to keep up with my
crafting and I have made several blog friends in the process".
Kate will be joined in the latter part of the week with other surprise guests, and of course, if you are inspired by any item you see on the blog this week, then please share what you get up to, and link your creativity here on the weekly challenge link.
Your challenge entry can link to your own blog, Pinterest or Flickr pages, or any webpage that shows us what you have made in response to the posts on the blog this week. Just make sure you come back to this post, and use the linking tool below to show us your entry. We have extended the challenge entry deadline to 5pm on Sunday evenings.

Make sure on Sunday 1st June by 17:00 (5pm London time) you need to have your link entered below, and you will go into one of 2 draws to win new stuff.
To help you find the linky tool when you need it, just look at the final green paragraph on each blog post, there you will find a link that brings you back to this post.
Weekly Challenge guidelines
The first draw is for every single entry listed, so if you have multiple entries, you get entered multiple times.
The second draw is only for one entry per name, and the winner of Draw 1 is not included in this second draw. Having 2 draws makes it fair for everyone, no matter how many times you can join in during the week.
As this challenge is to show how you have been inspired to action by this week's designer, make sure in your blog post you explain what prompted you to create.
Please don't feel you need to copy a designer's work exactly, it may be one small aspect or idea that you want to explore that sends you into the creative zone. You are also welcome to use any stamps/ products / substrates you have to hand, we do not expect you to exclusively use PA products - but of course it is lovely when you do!
The winners are announced Sunday evenings in the 7pm blog post (as above). It is your responsibility to check back and see if you have won. If you are a winner, email Darcy darcydotneedles@hotmail.com with the name of the stamp you would like, and your snail address. We do not chase people for unclaimed prizes.
If we are away at an event, then the winners post would generally be updated by Monday evening with draw details.
