It's the weekend and a perfect time to kick back , put your feet up, grab a cuppa and watch a new PaperArtsy video. This time it's our Crackly Tissue Paper. Our tissue is kind of weird! It's not quite what you expect. We do love a surprise! Our tissue is robust! And theremis a reason for that! It means you can paint loads of layers of frescos onto it and it won't disintegrate in front of your eyes! It also means you can glue it down, pick it back up and reposition it very easily.
In this video you will learn how to
- Stamp crackly, and the best inks to use
- How to use opaques and translucent paints to block, highlight or build depth
- Using satin glaze as a glue
- How to change the brightness of your paints with gloss glaze

ReplyDeleteThanks for yet another great video tutorial Leandra. Your canvas is gorgeous, I love the beautiful vibrant colours in this. The crackly tissue paper is so strong to go through all these wet applications and movement whilst it's wet too. I love how it disappears in the finished project but leaves a beautifully stamped and coloured image.
